Peter Sheil

Stephen Leacock (1869 - 1944)

Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence.
Robert Frost (1874 - 1963)

No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded.
Yogi Berra (1925 - )

Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws.
Douglas Adams (1952 - 2001), "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"

I've been thinking about the Frost quote and it occurs to me that I've heard some *highly* educated people rant on and on quite arrogantly, too.

If the word 'education' was changed to 'poise' or 'maturity', I'd agree heartily. Nice character trait to have.
