BBC reveals British migration map
Immigration has contributed half of the UK's population growth in 10 years, according to major research revealed by the BBC.

I created a simple "population model" in Excell using the published birth and death rates (excluding immigration) and the population started declining after a few years. It means that the new Britishers will be from many different backgrounds.

California backs gay marriage law
California's state legislature becomes the first in the US to approve same-sex marriages, after fierce debate.

This one will run and run. The Fundamentalist Christian Right will keep on kicking up about it but I guess gay marriage will be legal in the majority of states in 20 years.
