No ... well I guess I should say "not as far as I know" to be strictly accurate although I'm reasonably certain I'm right.
I do regret that my wife and I never had a family - it was something we were planning at one point and I'd retire and be a house-husband (and design web sites to keep sane) but it didn't work out that way in the end.
i have adult A.D.D. here and am not computing this right - lemme try anyways -
how tall are you? lol
ok now what do i do peter?
I tell you that I'm 6 foot and half an inch and you marvel at my size ;)
yep, that and the accent LOL
...sheesh, im a whole 5 foot 2 inches heh
OK...I wasn't gonna, but I figured what the hell, right? The meme will go onto my LJ momentarily...
How do you pronounce your last name? Should that be obvious? *heh*
As in the song -
"She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes"
Thanks! Every time I'd read your LJ, I'd be alternating pronunciations...good to know the right one! ;)
What is your favourite food?
That's not an easy question 'cos I like different things at different times :) My bigest downfall fot snacking is Yorkie bars; for a traditional English meal then either roast pork with lashings of crackling or roast beef and a full selection of veg; for comfort food to knock up - pasta in cheese sauce; for eating out in north London - Rani's vegitarian Indian, their banana curry is delicious; I've just found a sushi restaurant in Cardiff which is v good except that I get giddy 'cos the food moves around the restaurant on a conveyor-belt system and you help yourself as it goes past.
I guess if I had to choose just one then I'd go for the roast pork with Mum's home-made lemon merangue pie for afters.
Tell me about your current love life pretty please.
(Thought I would leave it as a nice open question as it's pretty personal) :-)
I don't think I'll put this in my journal so feel free to ask me anything here and I will tell.
Nada, zilch, zero, nuffin.
Although I am married Kim and are are separated, she's living in the US with her new partner - indeed I'll be staying thim later this month when I'm out in the US for a week. we are still friends although I do find it hard emotionally sometimes.
Yes I can imagine that it much be hard at times. Feelings for a person don't just vanish easily like that. I was hoping you might have someone nice to - no person should be alone and lonely.
Actually I have lots of nice people - you all chat to me here! and just sometimes we get to meet in personfor a meal and face-to-face chat :)
what do you normally do after your work if you dont meet up with your friends?
do you have a pet?
whereabouts in the usa are you going to?
At the moment there isn't a lot of "after work" - it's 10 PM now and I'm typing this between test runs / compiles of some code. I used to go out to cinema, meals with friends etc.
I don't have a pet, too unsettled to have one. My job means that I may have to travel to a client's site at short notice so keeping a pet wold be hard to organise safely for the pet. I'd like a cat.
Boston, originally for pictures of the fall, as it can be very beautiful there, but I think I'll actually be a bit late for it. I'll be staying with my wife and her new partner
