Well I went to the Doctor on Saturday morning - I had to get an emergency appointment 'cos that's the only way to get one for a Saturday. Since I'm still working away from home Monday to Friday, and don't necessarily know where it will be, it is hard to arrange to visit a doctor during the week. I've had a bad hacking cough, sore throat, headache, sore skin one day and this morning it sounded like my lungs were bubbling as I breathed. The doc had a good listen to my chest, but decided that my lungs were in fact OK and it was probably just the stuff I was coughing up [I know you don't want all the details]. He's put me on a course of antibiotics, I've ought a super strength cough mixture and we'll wait and see how I get on. I think the dry air onthe flights was partly to blame although the cough did start a while before I left he US.
After that we went shopping - bought exciting things like food and toilet paper :) kim was buying things to take to the US as she is over there a week from today, for a week, visiting her friend near Boston.
This evening we went to Oxford (about 55 miles each way) to see STOMP - if you have never seen them (or even if you have :) ) and get a chance tghen go see them. The do percusion on anything from brooms, rubbish bins and lids, lengths of plastic tbe, oil drums, books of matches, body parts ... and so on. It is a high energy prformance that takes your breath away just watching. They have three (I think) different groups - 1 in new York, one touring US and one touring Europe - at least that was the arrangement last time I checked their web site.
Right, I'll close now. Just got to check the e-mail then it's off to sleep for me.
