We're dealing with West Nile Virus here. EW EW EW! The mosquitoes where I live near DC are the size of a 747 and I have at least 6 bites now. They used to only bite when it was dusk and at night, but we have a new breed here that are out all day. UGH. Please tell me it's better in the UK!

it's quite rare to get mossies in the UK [apart from the swamp marshes surrounding London ;) ] although we are getting a few more with the hotter summers. I can't remember being bit by one for ... years actually.
