Random thought [May. 26th, 2004|07:08 pm]
Peter Sheil
Spurred on by a book I'm reading I thought I'd ask a question. Apparently there was an idea a while back to use the inverted question mark at the end of a sentence if you wanted to show that it was a rhetorical question. Is this a good idea¿ I'm personally in two minds about it but what do you think about it?

:)
Peace

Re: Inverted question mark

Nah, bad idea. The Spanish use it to mark the start of a question, so you'll only confuse people about the next sentence.

I think it's a bad idea. It indicates a regular being asked in Spanish. People will just get confused and think that you've taken up Spanish.
