Quiz alert [Apr. 21st, 2004|05:57 pm]
Peter Sheil

Grammar Fuhrer
You are the grammar Fuhrer. All bow to your
authority. You will crush all the inferior
people under the soles of your jackboots, and
any who question your motives will be
eliminated. Your punishment is being the bane
of every other person's existence, because
you're constantly contradicting stupidity.
Everyone will be gunning for you. Your dreams
of a master race of spellers and grammarians
frighten the masses. You must always watch your
back. If only your power could be used for good
instead of evil.

What is your grammar aptitude?

Hmm, not completely accurate as my natural spelling is crap :) but I do not appreciate sloppy usage of the English language [Americans are excused 'cos they have a different language even if they don't realize it :))))) ]

I couldn't score on this one because ALL of the selections for question 5 are wrong.
Does that make me even more of a grammar Fuhrer?

Well I reckoned that it should not start "My Dad and him ..." so that left me options 2 and 3. I didn't like ".. she and I" as the ending so it had to be number three ... but yes I didn't like it :)

I suppose three is grammatically correct, but it sounds clumsy. "He and my dad" flows better, and "dad" is a relationship and not a name so it shouldn't be capitalised! "me and her" is correct.
(Spell check suggests "capitalized" in the above, but I'm sticking to my version!)
