Peter Sheil
How would you feel about this?

As a non-christian myself I would not feel happy about being questioned on my religious beliefs in those circumstances.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are many good Christians, just as there are many good Jew, Muslems, Hindis, Pagans etc but it does seem that the Christians are far more detemined to convert you, to "save you". Personally I feel fine as I am with my own beliefs thank you very much and when we all die we'll find out who had the right idea ... or maybe not if we each go to our own personal heaven. This is one subject that you can truly say "Only time will tell."

you are absolutely right. It does seem to be the Christians who try and convert everybody. In fact, the whole Jesus cult seems to have this "mission". It does piss me off, especially when I get off at Oxford Street and hear some crazy Northern man shouting through a loud speaker going on about "...you are all sinners destined for hell..." Have you heard him? He's there like everyday. Anyway, like you i'm more than happy with my beliefs.

Nah, I either get off at Victoria or Bank for the two clients I'm usually visiting, so haven't seen your preacher.

There is sometimes someone by the triangle of pedestrian area towards Victoria Street just putside Victoria station but I just ignore him. I've never seen anyone like that around the Bank / Monument stations, not the sort of area for it is it ... much more Mammon than Good :) I do have some fun there 'cos the link escalators between Bank and Monument are out for servicing and you end up doing a pinball like route backwards and forwards around the underground passages. Bang, crash wheee beep beep beep :)

PS Do you still do guitar on Tuesday nights or can you come to the next LJ meetup?
