Columbia disaster remembered
Memorial services are held for the astronauts killed in the Columbia shuttle disaster a year ago.

I live 10 minutes away from NASA... the families of the astronauts and their friends were deeply saddened. Even the people that didn't know them, like me... the whole community felt the loss. It's heartbreaking still, but the courage that their families have shown is amazing, their continued support for NASA... amazing.

yes. there was a radio program about the tem training exercises they did - sort of desert survival stuff - they even made a video of there time on the course. Quite moving!

I think my main point was that we have to go on despite the failures in life, othrwise we never will discover the unexplored.
