For those that don't know I run ... not very fast admittedly ... but I have so far done two marathons in times around 6.5 hours. This year I'm running in the New York marathon in October [and it's September already] and just to warm up I'm running the New Forest half marathon on Sunday 21st September. Feel free to come along and cheer the runners. I'll be finishing around 2hr 30 minutes if all goes OK (or maybe earlier? dreams :) )
Anyway, you can pop over to the other journal and marvel at my lack of training - each training run gets entered so all those blank days are bad. I guess the Morris dancing does help my legs a bit - certainly the dancing seems easier after the running but maybe I'm just imagining it.
