Nanny state?

I heard this described, I'm sure, as Europe sending a washing machine to the moon ... no seriously ... although the report might have said it was washing machine sized. Hmmm ... since it's looking for water I guess it could be a very clever washing machine. It will come in useful when we finally do colonise the moon 'cos they'll need to do something with their dirty clothes.

Himalaya glaciers melt unnoticed - where was that then?

Two heads are better than one right?

I swear it's a quote from the article: "A female user placed her laptop on top of her car while getting in. Forgetting about the laptop, it slid off the roof and she then reversed straight over it as she set off." I just coudn't make it up!

Just to redress the male/female balance here is another similar page. The quotes: "Taking the number one spot is the US man who was so frustrated with his laptop, he shot it in a fit of e-rage, then realised there were important files he needed.

Hot on his heels is the company director whose soapy bath time ended in disaster when his laptop slipped in with him." Splosh, sizzle, oh s**t. Brings tears to my eyes.

MSN the newcomer, Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves et al - which search engine is "best"?

These links were brought to you by "waiting for the washing", a rush home at the weekend production :)
