My Day in Haiku [Oct. 31st, 2004|12:15 am]
Peter Sheil
Silent radio;
An early morning power cut
sheds no light on me.

In the dim half light
Shower, shave and pack my bag;
a nomadic life

On the car radio
Home Truths remembers John Peel,
a life ends too soon.

Put and paste, a screen,
a field, drop-down doesn't work!
Coffee stimulates.

After work, drive home
east along the motorway
the moon rises.

At the services
Greasy hands, lemon scented,
Membury KFC

In the middle lane
you drive regardless of the
other cars behind.

All green traffic lights
Change to red as I approach
stop, go, stop, go, stop ...

While the washing drys,
the next load washes and I
type here in LJ

Remember to change
your clocks; sleep an extra hour?
Winter forshadowed.
