Random Thoughts [Sep. 10th, 2004|10:21 am]
Peter Sheil
1. Cooked breakfasts are yummy :)

2. My laptop is being "refreshed" today. I had an image of it getting dunked in pure spring water ... in fact it just means they are giving me a new one and trying to take away the old one immediately. I'm actually going to hang on to it for a few days 'cos I need to reinstall loads of software and copy my files over. They don't get the old one back 'till I've proved the new one's working.

3. Our new technology group has organised a meeting about firewalls this lunch time. Since I was the one who suggested that subject when they were asking for ideas I'll definitely be going to it.

4. It's a dull grey day today but I still feel positive! I guess it's a combination of a coffee and that it's Friday today.

Right off to do some backing up [or should that be backuping?] of my system settings and mailbox.

Peace
peter
