News from the BBC

Girls are 'more likely' to truant
Teenage girls are the worst school truants while boys are more likely to be excluded because of bad behaviour.

Did we need an investigation to tell us this? The thing I thought was just too obvious for words was "... the kind of parenting a child aged 12 to 13 receives influences their delinquency at 15.

Is it me? Maybe I'm just expecting too much here :)

Protect your PC ... maybe

As of Wednesday Microsoft will be shipping Windows XP SP2 from their update site - you may even get it downloaded without having to do anything if you've set up your system to do so (a mistake in my opinion).

Here is the article on the BBC's site about it

... and here is the Microsoft knowledge base article including all the programs which will stop working when you install SP2.

Life 2 (based on icon from tamnonlinear)

(no subject)

Just changed my default icon - it's 2004 and in Athens all sorts of people are straining every available muscle ... and apart from the Beach Volley Ball there are some other sports going on :)
