Just off to bed. I'm running a half-marathon tomorrow ... OK later today actually now :) The race starts at 11:00 and I should be finished by 13:30. Anyone want to come and watch? It starts at New Milton, Hampshire - some car parking if you arrive early or you can get there by train.

As most of you won't be there I'll let you know how it went in the evening.

Peace

Ran the half marathon - finished in 2 hr 41 minutes.

See runningdiary for the details.

Not quite as good as I'd hoped - wanted 2:30 but it's OK
just need to get my legs working again then I can drive back to London

Peace

Back home - but v late. The motorways were slow with a couple of accidents we had to dodge - one still in half of the fast lane which was exciting.

Ham and mushroom tagliatelle - yummy. The frozen meals are a lot better than they used to be and you can microwave them from frozen so it was straight in to the oven to start the nuking while unpacking some stuff from the weekend. Now I just have to do the minimum I need for the morning, polish shoes and get the suit ready, pack the laptop I'll be taking and sort out some paperwork - that should do. I also should do some work on my web site but I think I'll run out of time for that.

This week I'm in London for the first few days on client sites so probably won't be online 'till the evenings. Oh yes, it's LJ meetup on Tuesday as well - I'll be going to the London one (even if it is "officially" canceled).

Right, onwards and upwards. Peace.
