Well last night I finally got hot mail working on my own PC.
The magic incantation seemed to be "Clear the SSL cache".
I'm not completely sure what that is, but it does seem to
have fixed it for now. All I still have to do is restore all
the other settings I've been changing trying to get it to
work.

With hotmail working I can get all my mail downloaded in one
quick connection (mild giggles here as the connection is never
fast) and then actually read the mail off line. For American and
Canadian readers it must seem strange that we Brits have to pay
for local phone calls.

Right - off home and Morris practice. Catch you all on Friday.
