Now there's a job .. [Dec. 17th, 2001|01:12 pm]
Peter Sheil
From an item on the news this morning

14 Frenchmen have just completed a 3 month stay in bed to test the effects of weightlessness on astronauts. Now why did I miss the application for that job? Can you imagine 3 months of lying down - ahhh the bliss. Some of them did have to do some exercise and tests, and I guess they were taking their blood on a regular basis, but it still seems like a good job to me.

Driving to work [Dec. 17th, 2001|01:18 pm]

Morning drive to work -
both beautiful and ugly.
Man and nature fight.

Frost white, star bright sky.
Pink tinted blue, valley mist,
leaf-bare branching tree.

M3 morning rush -
Stop go, stop go, stop go stop;
Drive slowly by Fleet.

For those who don't know, Fleet is a vilage near the M3 where there
are services on the motorway. The rush-hour traffic starts getting solid
about there at 7.30 to 8.00 AM in the mornings.

Blessed Be
