Where I'm going on my holiday [Mar. 29th, 2002|12:54 am]
Peter Sheil
Hello

Well at long last I've published something on the web!

Click the link below to see my first ever web page - where I
am going next week. Please feel free to comment on this - I
probably won't get to read it 'till after the holiday but I
would appreciate feedback :)

View where I am going

Have a good break yourselves - enjoy life and peace
Blessed Be

I loved looking at the pictures, but I'm confused. If you haven't been yet, how can you have pictures already? Do you have a tardis?

Re:

It is all down to planning :) We have been going around for two weekends checking uo where the good pubs are, where the watering points are and if there are any shops where the map indicates them.

I'll put up the pictures from the trip itself later.

Re:

Hi Ellie

To look at the source code select View, Source from the menu then you'll see the HTML of my page. It isn't that hard! All the things in <> are commands to the browser and /x means end the processing with x. If you compare the source with the result you'll get an idea of what is going on. As a clue;-
br = break - ie new line
p ... /p = paragraph
b ... /b = bold
i ... /i = italic
a ... /a = link to another document (or pic)

The next version of the page will have a table, so I can have "before", "during" and "after" pictures :)

Take care and have fun (but not too much ;) )
(hugs)
