That seems to have been part of the general response to the attacks. I wonder if "Neighborhood flattened by a flying gas main" got the same response...

There is a "British spirit" that believes that most problems can be if not solved then certainly made more bearable with a nice cup of tea - be that problem caused by exploding gas main, river flowing through a village or terrorist attack.

Me personally or the icon? ;) I claim no credit for its manufacture, only snagged it (with general permission so feel free to copy if you want)

As far as I know, they filmed the mountain scenes in the North Wales mountains! Where most of the water is comming verticaly down! It's a very lovely part of the UK!

[panicked voice] “Argh the world is ending the world is ending”

[calm voice] “would you like some tea and cake?”

actually no, the tea from the machine here at work is crap! I drink coffee more often than tea; tea is usually when I'm around at my Mum's or on canal boat trips :)

Thank you - actually created by tamnonlinear, I just slowed it down from a manic caffeine induced rate :)

You were recently featured in userpicks, with this icon-
I was wondering if it would be okay for me to use it, with credit to you? It would be awesome.

http://www.livejournal.com/users/tyrell/154027.html has a collection of quotes.

My favourite is "It's hard to panic the British. They've dealt with the Blitz, the IRA, the Silurians, the Zarbi, the Daleks, the Cybermen..."
