Oh come on, you underestimate yourself. I'm sure you could have invented that story if you tried!

It would have been a little harder to provide a valid link though.

Why do you Brits always get to do the fun experiments? We're stuck trying to prove evolution and global warming, finding weapons of mass destruction, and testing nuclear bombs; and you're off shagging in the lab and publishing porn detailed papers about it. Your peer-review process must be a riot: "Your partner's brain didn't shut down? Mine's did. Are you sure you're equipped to duplicate the experiment exactly?"

I'm in the wrong job AND the wrong country.

Why do you Europeans ...
There are a number of the British who hate being part of Europe ... sometimes it seems like Tony Blair is one of them ... although personally I'm quite pro-Europe. I guess working for two years over in Luxembourg gave me a different view. If there was a vote now I think the majority of people would vote to leave the EU. Yes, I know we are actually part of Europe whether we like it or not, but we have a lot clower ties to the US than the other European countries.

Yeah, right. For a deactivated organ, there's a lot of chatter going on then!

But can't women talk without engaging the brain at all like an autonomic bodily function?
*ducks and runs very fast*
;)

*snicker* That depends. There are some things I say that are automatic... mostly at work or to the kids. But when I mentioned 'chatter' I wasn't speaking of words as much as activity... and there's a lot of activity!

And I suspect it depends on the woman. Or man. There are people I have met that I don't even know if they have a brain at all.
