:-D

Very nice!

I had to stop at one - uhm - nf008 - because I was so taken with the sky! Those clouds are referred to here as a "mackerel" sky and means storms within a certain amount of time - I can't recall but probably within 24-48 hours.

Wow and nf011 with the sun glowing in the back! The silhouette of the trees against those incredible clouds - beautiful!

They are all wonderful dude!

Re: :-D

thanks

could you see the stag in the last one?
that was the one that couldn't get up and was
shot about half an hour after that pic
he looked just like fallen wood - a perfect disguise as long as he kept still

Really nice Peter! How come it's called the New Forest? Or is that just the name?

what's in a name

well it /was/ new, but that was quite a while ago :)

it was used for ship building - back in he days when
Britain ruled the waves and drove the Spanish Armarda
back. Nowerdays it is an interesting mix of woodland
and heath with horses, cows and pigs grazing over it.
I should get some pics of the ponies as well - they are
"cute" until they smell food when they will trample over
anything to get it.
