Mobile plane ban protects us from terrorists - FBI

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/06/01/fbi_opposes_air_mobiles/

Worth following the link to the PDF of the actual submission to see just how dangerous (the FBI say) it will be to allow phones on aircraft ... and they are thinking of allowing them on London Underground stations (and maybe trains) soon.

"Mobile plane ban protects us from terrorists"

Well, yeah, I guess mobile planes would be more dangerous in the hands of terrorists than immobile planes. I was wondering when the FBI would realize that...good to know our cops are on the ball...

Yeah, another US / UK difference in the language. If you replace "mobile" by "cell phone" you'll get the right meaning ... but I'm sure you figured that out already.

Peace
