Hi Ben,

Yes, I have now added you to my friends list although a less pushy comment would have been a better way to approach me. My journal has almost no friends only posts - I use a different journal for my more personal comments and the people on the friends list of that one are all people I have known for a long time.

So, what about you?? You can see all my bio information in my details but you are a little short of information on your details page. In looking at your journal it seems to me that the following points are true :-
  1. You are a teenage male living in the USA.

  2. You may live in the New York area

  3. You have a girl friend in France

  4. You live with your parents and at least one sibling.

  5. Tact is not one of your strong points.

  6. You are computer literate and can do simple hardware maintenance on PCs.

  7. At least one part of your body I didn't want to see is hairy.

Does that cover everything? Hmm ... how about :-

How old are you?
Where do you live? (State / Town is quite detailed enough)
What subjects do you enjoy at school and why?
What subjects do you like least and why?
What do you do out of school?
What do you want to do in life if you grow up?

I guess that will do for now :)

You ought to know that I am straight forward - if I tell you something then that is what I believe it to be. If you start behaving towards me like you were in the girlgeek community then we won't get on as friends. If you behave reasonably and are straight forward yourself then we can get along fine :)

Peace
peter

You are a teenage male living in the USA.
yes
You may live in the New York area
i'd like to know what made you think that ~ but i'm in indiana for the moment
You have a girl friend in France
yep yep
You live with your parents and at least one sibling.
one sibling, one cousin ~ my dad is dead ~ 'max' lives with us now
Tact is not one of your strong points.
ha... i'm sure i could use tact if i wanted..
You are computer literate and can do simple hardware maintenance on PCs.
that may be a slight understatement, but okay.
At least one part of your body I didn't want to see is hairy.
<.< this is slightly confusing.

i'm 19
i live near bloomington, indiana
mostly math, i suppose ~ as far as subjects i enjoyed. some history subjects are easy and foods was definitely enjoyable. english is not a happy subject for me.. (though i do try to use grammar to the best of my ability)
i don't go to school right now. i 'dropped out' of college as of this fall and i'm going in to the army at the end of january (look up 33w to find out about my army job/MOS if you care to know)
What do you want to do in life if you grow up?
if? >.> hmmph... anyway.. i just want a happy family, basically. not have to worry about money.

i'm sure we'll get along better than i did with some people in girlgeeks =X

At least one person on your friends list is from NY, not a definite thing but can indicate where you might be from.

At least one part of your body I didn't want to see is hairy.
... this is slightly confusing.

Mooning ... I'll say no more ;)

I did Maths as my first degree ... oh some 30 years ago now!

Good luck in the Army, not a career I'd fancy myself ... working on the software for torpedos as part of my degree placement year was quite enough of that sort of stuff for me.

What's the time difference between us? I'm posting this at 30 minutes past midnight on Monday morning so I'll be in bed v soon.

Sorry about that "if" ... I have a dry sense of humour sometimes (well most of the time actually, it just doesn't always get expressed)

Peace
peter
