Snow? [Nov. 9th, 2001|09:03 am]
Peter Sheil
Well Rachel, the snow you promised me when I was out there has followed me back to England :) There are heavy falls of snow on the Scottish hills and as far south as Yorkshire. There were even some snow flurries just a few miles from home yesterday. The temperature was down at 2 degrees this morning (that's 36 degrees Farenheit for all of you still using older thermometers) and there was ice on the windscreen. But just when we get this cold spell the weather forecasters are saying that the weekend will be mild again. It is one of the joys (and pains) of the British climate - plus it gives us shy and reserved Brits something to talk about :)

Right I'd better get back to work - got to finish that report today :(
