Peter Sheil
I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Peace

Re: 3 things?

1) Whats your favorite food?
Chocolate is a food right? :)
Failing that, then Pasta in Cheese Sauce is my favourite home cooked comfort food, a meal at Rani (Finchley, North London) vegitarian indian is my favourite restaurant meal and I also like steak and salade - mixed tastes there.

2) Are you currently overweight/just right/underweight?
A bit overweight, but not too bad as I do manage to get around half and full marathons without completely killing myself :) My lifestyle at the moment does involve a lot of travelling, staying in hotels and motorway services food - I get urges for KFC sometimes - so circumstances do conspire against me a bit.

3) Do you have any physical health issues?
Yep ... oh you wanted the details as well? :)
1. Keratoconus - eye condition which means I have to wear contact lenses and will probably eventually need cornea transplants ... although it has been reasonably stable over the last 27 years. I should have my lenses out for 8 hours in every 24 but I sometimes push that a bit. Mostly my eyes are OK, they are checked every 6 to 9 months at Moorfields Eye Hospital, but if I have had the lenses in for too long then the eyes get very sensitive to light and sting a bit.
2. Gout - mostly in feet / ankles. I just have to try and drink enough water each day - not that easy for me as I can get by without drinking much - and take pain killers / anti inflamatory tablets when it is being painful. The first time I had it was the most painful thing I'd ever encountered but mostly now I catch it early enough so it's not too bad.

Peace

Nah ... none there anyway! I very rarely play computer games and they will either be from a CD or a menu somewhere. Desktop doesn't get "polluted" by anything like that :)

what do you think of the colour blue?
But there isn't one colour blue! The bright cheerful blue of a cloudless day. The subtle shades of sunset ... pink and blue mixing and darkening 'till dusk comes. The blue of the background of my web site - look soon before I change it to a picture of bricks :) [it is better than it sounds :) ] And then you have all the blues in water - rivers lakes and sea, the blue of crystals ... etc.

So I think blue is a wonderful collection of different colours.

purple, or gold?
Each has their place, but if I had to pick one then ... purple (cos it's a sort of blue really) :)

1) where in the world would you most like to travel to?
So many places :)
Travel around America - you know the whole road trip thing :)))
Visit Iceland for walking and photogrphy.
New Zealand for the scenery and "hunt the hobbit location"

2) Do you think aliens exist?
Probably yes, but we may never meet them personally because of the problems of physically moving about the universe. If we ever manage to break the light barrier then we definitely will find them.

3) what is your favourite season?
Autmn. I love the colours and shades of the leaves. Do you remember about three years ago when we had an autumn when there were far more red leaves than in most years? Ahhhhh :) That is the usual "fall" in the North East USA. *yearn yearn*

*mutter mutter sill LJ*
I replied to this but either I or LJ managed to screw it up :(
OK, so for the second time ...

How many DAYS old are you?
Using Excel DATE(1954,7,17) - TODAY() = 18,171

What is your favorite type of food? (Chinese, Mexican, Mediterranean, etc.)
I have a very broard range of tastes. I love the vegitarian indian restaurant near my london flat. I love Chineese food - the combination of different textures and tastes. I love Italian cooking - pasta and pizza. Thai food rocks - love the curries. I also like traditional British food like roast meat and veg, fish and chips, steak and kidney pudding ... my mouth is watering now :) I also love cheesecake :)

What is the worst movie you've ever seen?
Erm ... don't know the name but there was one that sounded like a romantic one and it turned out to be violent with demons and stuff (a good few years ago now). I took a girl friend to it ... think it ruined my chances with her :(

must think of good questions!

1. What is your earliest childhood memory (not one you were told, a real memory of yours) and what does thsi memory mean to you now?

2. Given the opportunity and things like age and lack of partner not being the issue, would you want a child now? Why or why not?

3. What is one things in your life which you are proud of doing?

Thank you most kindly.
