Dry air at work (and last night at the hotel) = sore eyes for Peter :(

For those who don't already know, I have to wear contact lenses for a medical condition that cannot be corrected with glasses. When everything is working correctly it's fine but dry air, smokey rooms and wind cause me problems sometimes.

I'm driving back to my London flat tonight, working in London on wednesday and not sure where for the last two days of the week. no chance of planning my life here :( I'll expect to be travelling up and down the M4 like a yoyo ... as usual it seems :(

Right, back to the "excitement" of work.

Peace

Ugh..dry itchy eyes, I wear my contacts purely because I am vain. Have you tried one of those gel eyemasks?

Ahh, it's not that simple :)

I have hard lenses and my eyes are v sensitive to a lot of the standard "eye drops" products so the only things I can use are artificial tear solutions. The main thing is to keep the lenses out for long enough - it should be 8 hours out in every 24 but I tend to push it a bit ssometimes just to fit life in. And of course taking the lenses out leaves me with very limited vision so I can't do that much without them.

Right, off to bed.
Peace
