Peter Sheil
I had fun today ... managed to lose my car keys. I thought they were droped at a friend's house but they weren't there. Had to phone around a few numbers and eventually got the AA to come out [Automobile Association; car breakdown organisation] They took almost an hour to get to me then the guy took over half an hour breaking in to the car. Fortunately I had a spare set of keys in the glove box so I could get going again.

Just about to pack my stuff up ready for thr morning and go to bed. I'm driving the 155 miles to Cardiff first thing.
Peace
peter

In the States AA is Alcoholics Anonymous (a 12-step program). AAA is for when your car breaks down.

Yep we have that AA as well, the context usually makes it clear. The web site for the breakdown organisation is "theaa.com" ... or maybe that's .co.uk *shrugs*
