Feeling of achievement [May. 15th, 2003|09:28 pm]
Peter Sheil
Finished all the washing up ... well apart from some plates sitting in the dishwasher.

Been taking pictures of the moon - don't have enogh magnification for good pics, but they may be OK.
I've got the camera on a tripod, so the camera shake is reduced a bit, but not completely.

During today and yesterday I took some pics from work - the "ants" are building next door (underground car park at the moment I think). I'll post them later, maybe Friday evening. I'll be busy over the weekend - we have a Morris tour around some bits of the New Forest near Southampton, comment here if you want more details.

I need an early night - getting too tired and achey eyes so I won't hang around on here too long.

Take care, peace
peter

Full moon tonight...time for me to take the telescope out, although it has been over-cast much here in Californication...hoping, hoping...maybe the man in the moon will wink my way. :-)

Did yoiu see the eclipse? I didn't stay up to try and see it ... it was at 3 or 4 AM over here ... but it was cloudy anyway so I wouldn't have seen it anyway.

Re:

Oh good, glad you got to see it. I do love that sort of thing, we had a solar eclipse a few years back and I went to a pointy of land called Portland Bill on the south coast which just went into the total eclipse area - very cool :)
