New Year Resolutions [Jan. 1st, 2002|10:53 pm]
Peter Sheil
1. Explain why my web site is blodtandsmidigt.com
(sorry it is a bad joke, but it kept me amused)

2. Get some content up on my web site :)
It is just a holding page right now, but I am reading the O'Rilley book on HTML :)

3. Summarise the discussion on why and when you trust people on-line.
That was interesting, and I'm still not sure about who to trust :) all of YOU of course, but I still have some questions. I'll put this in another post in a day or two as an open discussion and see if any "friends I haven't met yet" respond.

4. try and get my marriage to work - hmm far too much personal stuff in this topic for a general post, but I'm sure I'll put some stuff in a "friends only" post before too long.

Hmmm ... I think that's all for now.

What were your New Year resolutions?

Blessed Be
peter

Re:

Hey, I didn't mean I didn't trust YOU :)

I had a discussion a while back about how you decide to trust someone - triggered by someone giving me their home and work phone numbers - I don't think you took part. It all seems to come down to "feeling right" (or woman's intuition as I called it :) )

btw did you see my post of 20 Dec I think it was? If you like the poem then follow the link and see if Les Barker is performing near you. He is v funny, and can be v serious, but well worth listening to. He has allowed me to put his poems on line, so I'll be putting some more of them up sometime "real soon" :)

Anyway I'd better start some real work, since that's what they pay me for.

I don't "officially" make New Year's Resolutions. I find that it's much easier to keep the unofficial ones. Unofficially, I resolve to lose 10 more pounds by the end of March so I can fit into my wedding dress in April.

;)))))))))

Good luck with the weight loss ... oh allright and the marriage :)

But what if I can't get there?

You might marry someone else and then we'd both be sad ;)

Re:

That sounds like a nice place for a wedding :)

I hope you are both very happy together, and I promise not to come and frighten your future husband away :)

blessed be

I resolve to take over the world :-)

actually at this point all I can hope for is to get my car back in one piece without going bankrupt.

Surely taking over the world is a New Year revolution?
