Answer to What is this [Oct. 8th, 2002|06:23 pm]
Peter Sheil
Go on, tell me what the following is:-

"H I J K L M N O."

Water.

Why?

Well the chemical formula of water is H2O
Change the meaning (but not the sound) of the 2 and you get
H-O
which when written out in full if
H I J K L M N O

:)
Don't worry if you didn't get it - it doesn't mean you are thick.

Do you want me to do anoher one???
Peace (and frustration)
peter

AArrgghh!!

I had a feeling that it had something to do with the range of letters, but I couldn't figure it out. I'll have to try harder sometime. Either that or else you have to give better clues...

Re:

Is that good or bad? Did you like them? Does it stretch your brain or just confuse you???

well...

I hated the teacher, hated the way he taught, hated his stupid jokes, and basically did not look forward to anything related to that class. It doesn't really scratch my brain because I think to figure out this kind of jokes you need a certain kind of logic and intelligence which I do not posses. Different people think differently, and I never think the right way about these things...

Re: well...

OK, well I suggest you ignore my future puzzles then - unless you feel moved to try one :)
