|Quotes of the day

I'm a bit sore this morning. I fell out of bed and hurt my back :( Don't laugh at the back there. I landed on my elbow and the base of my spine (on top of my phone which I was reaching towards to turn off the alarm). Not the best way to start the day but, despite that, I feel good mentally. Probably meeting the other LJers last night helped.
Take care and enjoy today's quotes.

Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804 - 1864)
We only do well the things we like doing.
Colette, Prisons and Paradise, 1932
Work and acquire, and thou hast chained the wheel of Chance.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
When all is said and done, the weather and love are the two elements about which one can never be sure.
Alice Hoffman, 'Here on Earth'
and how far the floor is from the bed.
